2018 Haval South Africa Outreach Expedition arrives in Eastern Cape!

27 September 2018, Coffee Bay – The 2018 Haval Outreach Expedition is making its way from Johannesburg to Cape Town along the east coast of South Africa. After a quick stop in the Kruger National Park, the convoy turned south and headed for Sodwana.

In Sodwana, the two 4×4 H9’s in the group had the opportunity to show their muscle on the dunes. With six drive modes to choose from, including Sand Mode, the Haval H9 is perfectly suited for slippery and sandy driving conditions. The seven-seat luxury SUV proved to be extremely nimble on the challenging dunes. Recently launched in South Africa, the Haval H9 offers excellent performance, and it really is equally at home in the dunes as it is on the road.

From Sodwana the convoy of two Haval H9s, two Haval H6Cs one Haval H2 and a GWM Steed 5E drove to Durban for a very special occasion where Haval took the opportunity to reach out and support organisations that rely on donations. At the Marine Surf Lifesaving Clubhouse Haval made donations to two organisations: the Wylie House Child and Youth Care Centre, and the Marine Surf Lifesaving Club. Both organisations received equipment and supplies as part of the Haval Outreach Expedition.

Wylie House has been in operation for 70 years as a haven for girls who have been abused or neglected. Marine Surf is a well-known lifesaving club that offers young athletes the opportunity to compete in international lifesaving competitions. Both organisations received donations of much-needed supplies from Haval.

The next stop on the route was Coffee Bay, as the six vehicles crossed into the Eastern Cape and hit the halfway mark on the journey. From Coffee Bay the Haval Expedition will head toward East London.
